Hi. I'm Jason Barnes.

I am a landscape photographer focused on capturing fleeting moments of light, atmosphere, and the grandeur of the natural world. From the mountain west and desert southwest to global destinations as far away as Patagonia and New Zealand, I prefer to explore the landscape alone, immersing myself in solo camping and hiking to explore and find new images, both grand and intimate. My goal with every image is to transport the viewer, to let them walk in my boots, and to give them the feeling of being there in that moment. MORE…
